under the listening sky
SomaGetic Bodywork
SomaGetic bodywork works with the body as a whole; physical, mental, emotional, and energetic.Where traditional bodywork focuses on muscles and tension,
this work listens for what is held more deeply within the body.Through slow, attentive touch, the body is supported in softening what it has been carrying,
not through force, but through awareness and presence.
what is SomaGetic bodywork
A fully clothed, body-centered session that weaves together touch, presence, dialogue, and deep listening.Using gentle holds, supportive touch, and awareness of the body's subtle responses, we follow what is naturally asking for attention. There is no predetermined outcome and nothing that needs to be fixed. The body sets the pace.Sometimes the session unfolds primarily through silence and touch. At other times, words emerge.A sensation.
An emotion.
A memory.
An image.
A feeling that has no clear name. When something arises, it is met with curiosity rather than interpretation. You may be invited to stay with an experience, notice what is happening now, or gently explore what wants to be known. The direction always comes from your experience rather than from a technique or agenda. This work is influenced by Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Hakomi, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, Reiki, and subtle energy practices, while remaining rooted in the belief that the body carries its own wisdom and unfolding. What this supports:✧ nervous system regulation✧ deeper connection to the body✧ emotional processing and integration✧ awareness held beneath conscious thought✧ softening physical and energetic holding✧ greater capacity to be present with what is✧ reconnecting with inner knowingThis is a space to be met exactly where you are.A slow conversation between body, mind, emotion, and energy. One guided not by fixing, but by listening.
